“In general, I’ve always strived to do things as simply as possible,” London furniture designer Dean Edmonds tells Port Magazine. “I’d like to think that by keeping the look and feel of my pieces clean and simple, they can work in any environment.” Edmonds lives in London but commutes to his workshop in Herefordshire, which is next door to his father’s steel fabrication workshop. “There’s an oak mill down the road, so I have everything I need,” he says.
